Seminar: Istanbul’un Fethi 29 Mayis 1453

We are pleased to invite you to an educational history talk (in Turkish) by our dear friend and archaeologist Garo Laçin on the history of Conquest of Istanbul by Mehmet II in 1453. The talk will tell you the unknown aspects of this 53 day siege of Istanbul, including the untold stories retrieved from the dairies of volunteers in the Byzantine army accompanied by video and power point presentations.
It will start on time!

Following the talk we’ll continue chatting with the speaker while we are having dinner; gyros, pilav and salad.
