Education

Promoting Turkey and Turkish culture is the foundation of TACAM. Language courses, charitable aid and engaging publications are just a few of our numerous projects.

Turkish Cultural Foundation grant awardee

TACAM is pleased to announce being awarded a $2,500 grant from the Turkish Cultural Foundation to help continue our Turkish language school in 2008–2009. Without the generous grant, TACAM would be unable to offer this valuable program to our members. The Turkish Cultural Association promotes and preserves Turkish culture and heritage worldwide, through original programs and cooperation with like minded organizations. They continued their pledge in this mission by awarding TACAM additional funds for our 2009–2010 school season. We thank them for their continued support.

The Anatolian Voice

The Anatolian Voice has been a mainstay of TACAM since it’s inception in 1999. It followed on the heals of the decades old Association Newsletter. Yet, the Anatolian Voice took a renewed focus on cultural events, longer narrative pieces and a format resembling a magazine more than a newsletter. Morphing the community news with the broader environment of Turkish culture, politics and society, the AV provides a wonderful outlet for the Turkish community here in Michigan.
