Republic Day Celebration

This year we will celebrate the Republic Day via online meeting!

This year we cannot celebrate the most important national day of Republic of Turkey with a ball event, but still we believe that we will acknowledge the importance of day with a couple of events:

– On-site celebration on Thursday October 29 2:00 pm: TACAM board members will gather around the Ataturk bust to put a wreath, and sing the national anthem. Afterwards, there will be a duo violin performance by Dilek Engin and Deniz Çağlarcan.

– Virtual program on Sunday November 1st at 11:00 am: The program includes Consul General of Turkey in Chicago, Mr. Engin Türesin; Prof. Dr. Timur Kocaoğlu, live music by Dr. Zeynep Başaran, celebratory videos prepared by our high school chapter, and silent auction.

Hope to see you there.
