To celebrate the International Women’s Day, this year we discussed the violence against women and specifically increase the awareness to the mass violence Uyghur women are facing at the detention camps in China. Our guest speaker Elfidar Iltebir from Uyghur American Association in D.C. who will explained the current situation in the camps and a camp survivor shared her story. The webinar continued with the presentation by Dr. Duygu Kuzu on the psychological aspects of the issue.
