On November 10th, 2022, more than 30 Turkish Michiganders gathered to attend the remembrance program for Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, a revolutionary leader in times of war and , on the 84th anniversary of his passing. Short program included remarks by TACAM board members, poems, and community participation on “What does Ataturk mean to us?” followed by walk around Ataturk Park and video screenings. Our guests enjoyed friendly conversations and delicious food prepared by TACAM board members.
We could not be happier to see ever growing audience every year on this special day, on our property with a Ataturk bust and a dedicated park. We extend our sincere appreciation to those who could attend our program.
