On Saturday, March 18, TACAM commemorated of the 108th anniversary of the Dardanelles Victory and the martyrs who died in tens of thousands to protect their mainland, capital, and nation.

This year, our remembrance program, prepared and conducted by Dr. Sevgi Daşdemir, included a short presentation of the importance of the victory by Captain Zafer Karaboğa, Ret. and the concert by the 100th Year Turkish Folk Music Choir directed by Mine Taşçı. The ensemble came together this year with the participation of more than ten members of our Turkish American community and worked diligently to put together a great musical performance featuring some of those most memorable folk music pieces including Çanakkale Türküsü, Hey Onbeşli among others.
Event was well attended wiith over 50 guests. We thank all our performers and guests for their participations.
