We are deeply saddened with the loss of a long time member of TACAM, Asım Konu (84) in Michigan last night.
Asım Konu was born in Istanbul in 1940 as the son of Ahmet and Ayse Konu. He is survived by the loving wife Nevin, daughter Funda (Vedat Haydin) and grandson Koray Haydin.
The funeral will take place on Thursday, July 18th after 12:45pm at the American Moslem Society (9945 Vernor Hwy, Dearborn, MI 48120) followed by burial at Woodmere Cemetery (9400 W. Fort St., Detroit, MI 48209).
