On October 28, 1923 Ataturk mentioned his prophetic message:
“Tomorrow we shall proclaim the republic!”
Following these auspicious words, the Republic of Turkey was launched as a modern secular nation.

All of us must be proactive, working hard to develop the modern Turkish Republic further, to preserve and improve it further to match Ataturk’s dreams, principles and reforms!
We all have the greatest honor in celebrating the proclamation of the 88th anniversary of the founding of the Turkish Republic on October 29, 1923. The founder of the Turkish Republic and its first president Mustafa Kemal Atatürk implemented many progressive reforms that transformed the country into today’s modern state that became the pioneer of democracy in the middle east, the world’s 16th largest economy, and one of the most important allies for the United States of America.

We are pleased to inform you that TACAM received Turkish Republic Day “Proclamations” from the cities of Lansing, Wixom, Ypsilanti, and Congressman Hansen Clarke; we expect more will be coming!

Please join this celebration, take ownership of the Turkish Republic and the values it stands for, and show solidarity against terrorism. In doing so, you will also be helping to raise funds for the families who suffered from the recent earthquake in Turkey and for the fallen members of the Turkish Armed Forces fighting PKK terrorists!
