On November 24th 2012, at the Detroit Institute of Arts pianist Idil Ulgen gave a piano recital of Western and Turkish marches and dances, including compositions by W.A. Mozart, Chopin, Rachmaninoff, and piano transcriptions of Turkish band music. Over 350 guests enjoyed the recital.
