Cooking Class Yemek Kursu

We would like to extend an open invitation on behalf of our community member, Cansu Tucker, to participate in a cooking course for Turkish cuisine. This course will be held in the TACAM community center on February 27 from 1pm-4pm; $40.00 per person. We encourage you to bring a non-Turk (if possible) to share our Turkish culture and cuisine within our local Michigan community and will require a minimum 10 person sign-up with a maximum of 30 persons. Attendees who desire to do so can take part in the preparation and cooking for a complete hands-on experience.

As part of the Menu as listed above, Cansu is planning to make from scratch, fillo dough to share one of her signature dishes, Gozleme (2 varieties: one with ground beef and other with spinach and cheese) served with homemade Ayran (traditional yogurt drink). She will also prepare Mercimek Kofte (lentil balls which is vegetarian) and then make Irmik Helvasi to enjoy along with Turkish coffee.
