TACAM participated at the Assembly of Turkish American Associations’ (ATAA) 36th Annual Turkish-American Leadership Conference held at Washington DC between February 25-27, 2016. Michigan delegation included Honorary Consul of Michigan Nurten Ural, TACAM President Nilüfer Esen-Bilgin, TACAM Vice-President Gökhan Özalp, pictured below alongside Faruk Cıngıllı from Minnesota .
Turkish Coalition of America distributed 
various prizes to successful corporate branches of ATAA. Although TACAM did not qualify for the monetary prize, it received honorary recognition. Nurten Ural, Honorary Consul of Michigan and a former president of ATAA and TACAM, was presented with a Distinguished Service Award by current ATAA president Dr. Mehmet Toy.
