The Assembly of Turkish American Association’s Public Outreach Committee and International Visitors Council of Metropolitan Detroit and Voice of Detroit Radio proudly presented Honorable Dr. Sadettin Ergeç on July 2, 2007. At Farmington Hills Manor, Dr. Ergeç discussed Iraqi unity, solidarity, human rights, equitable sharing of resources and Iraqi territorial integrity. He was also joined by Dr. Hegran Ahmad, ITF External Relations Director; Ahmet Muratli, ITF Ankara Representative; Asif Ismail, ITF London Representative; Jamal Mehmed Ali Allahwerede, Co-Chairman of the Iraqi Turkmen Front; and, Hisam Mustafa Taha, Member of the Iraqi Turkmen Council. Ergeç was recently in Washington, DC, where he gave talks on the state of Kirkuk territory disputes and the referendums dealing with this territory. He also emphasized the woes of the Turkmen and Arab groups in Kirkuk vis-à-vis the Kurds.
Under the auspices of Nurten Ural, Honorary Consul General of the Republic of Turkey in Michigan, TACAM created a reception to honor U. Kenan İpek, Consul General of the Republic of Turkey in Chicago, on June 23, 2007, tadalafil citrate at Nurten’s residence. The event consisted of talks and a Q&A session. Later on, G. Lincoln McCurdy of the Turkish Coalition Political Action Committee and Günay Evinch the ATAA Capital Region Vice President joined in on the panel discussion.
