Another wonderful year celebrating Turkish independence during the collapse of the Ottoman Empire in the 1920s. We gathered at the TACAM building on August 29, 2009, to remember the occasion. This day also saw the bringing together of the Turkish and Japanese Americans in the area for a wonderful cross-cultural exchange.
