November 10 – Commemoration of Atatürk!

Dear Community Members,

We warmly invite you to join us on Monday, November 10th at 6:00 PM as we come together to commemorate the life and legacy of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the founder of the Republic of Türkiye.

Our gathering will begin with a short remembrance ceremony, followed by a torchlight march (Fener Alayı) to honor Atatürk’s vision, values, and the enduring spirit he inspired in generations. After the ceremony, we will share tea, coffee, and light refreshments. Those who wish are welcome to bring small snacks or treats to share with others.

We especially encourage our children to join us with their chrysanthemums (kasımpatı) — a beautiful symbol of remembrance and respect.

Let’s unite as a community to reflect on Atatürk’s ideals and celebrate the principles that continue to guide us today.
