Nurten Ural Residence, call 248.701.1050 for the address
You are invited to an event that you can make a difference! Enjoy Turkish cuisine and network with friends of Turkey in the Detroit area and beyond!
It is through the Turkish Americans that the Americans are acquainted with Turkey, our culture and values. It is the Turkish Americans that will change the image of Turkey and create positive Turkish American relations. Building relationships with others in our community and showing them our culture and having them to get to know us is the only way we as a community, can build the bridge between them and us.
The Honorary Consul General of the Republic of Turkey for Michigan Nurten Ural, and the Turkish American Cultural Association of Michigan (TACAM) invite you to join us in introducing Turkish cuisine and culture to friends of Turkey.
There will be a variety of meze made by volunteer members of the TACAM community. We will have a live fasil group from Toronto, as well as Turkish music provided by our resident DJ.
In addition to several representatives from other nations, including Consul Generals, there will be local ethnic community leaders, Members of the United States Congress, as well as many others.
We need your attendance and support to introduce these decision makers and influential individuals to Turkish Americans in Michigan.
You must RSVP and send your check to TACAM (Checks made out to TACAM) by September 5, so do not delay! Be sure to include the name(s) of all individuals attending the event. This is an adults-only event, no children please. Send your RSVP to nurtenural@gmail.com or call at 248.701.1050.
