Dear TACAM Friends,
We are writing to you on behalf of TACAM -Turkish American Cultural Association of Michigan to seek sponsorship at our Republic Day Ball which commemorates the founding of the Turkish Republic on October 29th, 1923. TACAM, founded in 1972, follows the philosophy of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, founder of the Turkish Republic. The purpose of TACAM is to foster, promote, plan and execute programs aimed at improving the economic, social, educational, religious, general welfare and other humanitarian activities of the Turkish community in the State of Michigan and elsewhere.
This year, Turks all around the world will be celebrating the 88th anniversary of this important day in the great Turkish history, and as TACAM, we are organizing to hold a ball for this very special event in Detroit, Michigan. This year’s event will be held in Diamond Center, Novi, MI on Nov 5th. We have invited approximately 500 guest including senators, congressmen/women representing the Turkish-American community in Michigan. The Turkish Consulate General of Turkey, Chicago, Illinois will be this year’s honorary guest.
