On January 23, 2010, TACAM’s folk dance team joined the City Heroes in to each learn more about cultural enrichment. The students learned a lot about Turkish culture and dance, and they were very impressed by our energy and culture. It was a great way to expose other people the the variety of Turkish dance traditions.
The City Heroes is part of City Year Detroit and aims to engage youth in educational program and service projects in the Metro Detroit area.
