2008–2009 General Assembly

Apparently, spring is not willing to approach Michigan yet! Due to the bad weather conditions now and in the forecast, we had no choice but to postpone our Döner Night to April 26. In an effort to minimize inconvenience to our community, we will also hold the General Assembly and TACAM Board elections on the same day. While the revised postcards are being prepared, please help us spread the word on this change…

Looking forward to getting together with friends next month, hopefully on a warm and sunny Spring day.

The TACAM General Assembly will take place on at the TACAM building in Wixom. It is time to nominate yourself or someone whom you know will do a good job working on the TACAM Board. When nominating, please keep in mind that person’s experience, leadership skills and his/her commitment to Turkish American community. Also, please ensure that the candidates you nominate agree to be a part of the Board prior to submitting their names. New comers, long time members, young or wise – all are welcome, as long as these board positions are filled with people who are willing to go the extra mile to represent our community in Michigan and will inspire everyone to work a little harder to bring people together.

Vice President
Treasurer
Secretary
5 Director positions
2 Board of Trustees positions
2 Audit Committee positions

Current Executive Board of Directors has a one year term from April 2008 to March 2009
