TACAM is set to celebrate the 87th anniversary of the founding of the Republic of Turkey. Atatürk’s most significant revolution and contribution was the establishment of the Turkish Republic on October 29, 1923, which is enthusiastically celebrated every year in Turkey, Northern Cyprus and everywhere else in Turkish communities around the world.
Honorable Fatih Yıldız, Consul General of the Republic of Turkey in Chicago, will be our guest of honor at the event. We will be featuring live musical entertainment from Demir Ceylan, as well as our own DJ. We will also welcome the Consuls from Mexico, Spain, Macedonia and the President of the Turkish-German Engineering Association of Germany, Demir Ceylan.
Mesut Ilgim, who will be speaking the following day, will also be at our event.
As always, there will be our wildly popular silent auction with excellent pieces to choose from. The evening will have a special celebratory presentation and much dancing! Expect another wonderful celebration of the Republic and the Turkish-American community in Michigan.

Tickets for the event are sold out. Because our event is sold out, payments received after October 31, 2010, may not be guaranteed a reservation. The Republic Day event managers Özlem Falkiewicz or Mehmet Yaya (248 438 8580) will contact individuals if they do not have a reservation but sent in a payment.
