Breakfast & March 18 Martyrs` Day


Join us for a delicious Turkish breakfast and commemoration of March 18 Martyrs` Day

TACAM cordially invites you to the 105th anniversary of Çanakkale Victory against the allied forces during World War I. Our soldiers died in thousands to protect their mainland, capital, and nation. This year our remembrance program includes Professor George Cassar who will present the French involvement in the Dardanelles during World War I based on his book entitled “Reluctant Partner.”

Prior to the remembrance program, we would like to invite you to the Turkish Breakfast starting at 10:30 am. At our Turkish breakfast you will have the chance of having delicious, freshly prepared breakfast, tea/coffee as well as chatting with and embracing all your friends. Börek, simit, sucuk, and all breakfast classics will be there.

This year’s breakfast is sponsored by three local businesspersons: Hülya Erol-Garvett, Ercüment Koçak, and Sevinç Sparks who will talk a few minutes about their businesses during the breakfast.

Breakfast at 10:30 am
Remembrance Program at noon

Tickets are $10/member, $15/non-member.
Kids age 9 and below eat free.

As many of you know, we have limited number of seats and breakfast events tend to be full. Please RSVP as early as you can but not later then Mar 19 by either sending an email to contact@tacam.org or by posting a message on our FB event and let us know how many will be in your party.
