2020 General Assembly was held on April 26, Sunday via Zoom for the first time in TACAM’s history. More than 30 members simultaneously attended the meeting from the comfort of their homes.
At the meeting, the members of the TACAM elected three board of directors and three board of trustees to serve until 2022. Fatoş Koçer, Aynur Yeni, and İrem Meyer will serve at the TACAM Board of Directors while Dr. Elif İzberk-Bilgin, Oya Tekeşin, and Müge Okuyucu will serve in the Board of Trustees. Dr. Aslı Koca and Dr. Armağan Korkmaz was appointed as the alternate board members to support TACAM. We congratulate all of the new members to the TACAM boards.
The members have approved the FY 2019-20 financial statements as well as FY 2020-21 Budget which included an amendment due to COVID-19 pandemic. The revised budget approved by the members reduced the event earnings and expenses as much as 50% due to COVID-19. Members also discussed alternative ways of controlling the annual expenses and creating revenues during COVID-19 pandemic.
