We hope to get together for a series of “Poetry over Music” events at TACAM. We are intending to read poems and learn the life story of two poets at a time, one being from Turkey. At this first event, we have chosen Leonard Cohen who died recently, and a young generation Turkish poet Birhan Keskin.
While reading the poems we’ll listen Ulas Ozkurede playing guitar.
If you like poetry, and think that you don’t have time to read, this is a good opportunity, so join us! Also pick your favorite poems of any of those poets to read with us.
This is a free event for the members, otherwise $5.00 donations are suggested.
Soft drinks and snacks will be served.
