Please join us on Sunday June 17th for the potluck style picnic where we will be celebrating both the Father’s Day and Ramadan Fest. We’ll have several games for both fathers and kids while enjoying the delicious Turkish style homemade food.
As a part of traditional Bayramlasma our kids will have the chance to practice of hand kissing, and in turn perhaps will receive candy and tips (you may want to have some change or one-dollar bills with you), and learn more about the meaning of Bayram.
This will be a potluck gathering, so please feel free to bring a dish to share.
Soft drinks and water will be provided.
As you know Ramadan is a month of understanding, tolerance, and giving! Therefore we would like to encourage you donate your “Fitre / Zekat” to our “support a student fund”. As you may know TACAM is sponsoring 4 Turkish university students, 3 in Turkey who are chosen by CYDD, and one from the Michigan universities. These projects would not be possible without your support.
